Things To Do In Bali

Sun, sea and sand are central to Bali and so are the surfing beaches that extend form Kuta to Legian and Seminyak where you will find many surfers who travel over from Australia for their holidays. These are world famous surf locations and whilst there are many to choose from along the coast, the beaches at Kuta are amongst some of the most popular. Diving is also another popular activity on the island and is one of the major specialist pursuits because the Indonesian waters provide for some of the least known diving locations in the world. All this is waiting to be discovered by enthusiastic divers. If you have never dived before then you will not be short of places on the island where you can learn to dive safely. Bali has several golf courses on the island, and Nusa Dua has a championship standard course, which has hosted several major competitions. However, whilst it is great for professionals, it is equally playable for novices. The course at Nusa Dua is wonderfully landscaped with small stone walls lining the fairways and exotic waterfalls and paddy field terraced style tees. If you are an adrenaline junkie then you may be interested in trying your hand at parasailing at tanjung Benoa, which is also the place to go jet skiing and snorkelling. I have had many great holidays in Bali and it has lots to offer and the people are so nice. |
